Where are the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We are holding both the ceremony and reception at the Line Hotel in DC. The address is 1770 Euclid St NW, Washington, DC 20009. You will be directed by signs and staff throughout the hotel, but if you get lost, you'll find our ceremony in the Carina room on the ground floor!

What time should I be there?

Answer

Our ceremony starts promptly at 5:00 PM EST. We ask that you please arrive no later than 4:45 PM so everyone has enough time to get settled.

What COVID considerations are in place?

Answer

We highly encourage everyone attending to be fully vaccinated to ensure it is a safe & fun event for everyone! If you are not yet vaccinated, we ask that you please get a negative COVID test the week before the wedding. In light of new DC guidelines, the venue requires everyone to please wear a face mask in public spaces of the hotel and when transitioning between spaces. Once we are in our private event spaces, guests can remove their face masks if comfortable. We greatly appreciate your understanding!

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding is semi-formal: suits and cocktail dresses are welcome, and so are tuxes and gowns! The ceremony and reception will be indoors. Weather permitting, we will hold a cocktail hour on the hotel rooftop. Please dress accordingly so you can be comfortable throughout! And don't forget to also please bring a face mask to wear in public areas of the hotel & when transitioning between our private event spaces. Once we are in the private spaces, masks are optional.

What's the deal with the welcome event on Friday?

Rick & Becky are generously welcoming all guests to join us for a welcome event on Friday, August 13th at 8:00 PM at Right Proper Brewing Company. Right Proper is one of our favorite spots in DC! We will be offering (really delicious) beer, wine, cocktails, and light bites during the event. Hope to see everyone there to kick off the festivities!

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

Our venue is more than willing to accommodate any dietary restrictions. Please make a note in your RSVP and we will be sure to pass the information along.
