If weather permits, please please take a road trip through RMNP! Take a drive on Trail Ridge Road and you'll be in awe with the mountain beauty. Get out and wander :) Easy / kid-friendly: Bear Lake Nature Trail & Emerald Lake Trail
Take a walk around the lake or rent paddle boards or kayaks!
Some of our favorite mountain towns that are a must visit: Keystone, Breckenridge, Winter Park, Vail, and Aspen. Have a wander through the downtown areas - there are fun activities/bars/boutiques/breweries
This is one of my favorite hikes! It is a 20-30 minute drive from Denver. This would make an awesome morning / day trip!
This is probably the most epic concert / events venue in the country. Anyone can go & visit at anytime (unless there is a concert going on, but unlikely in April). They also offer yoga / workout classes in the amphitheater and there are fun trails around the 'red rocks' too.
Go watch the Denver Broncos (NFL) play in a preseason game or go see the Colorado Rockies (baseball) play!
