Shuttle from hotel to wedding and Early Check-in

Parking is at the back entrance of the hotel. See Hotel page on this website for the parking map. Enter on Holland Avenue. If you are checking in on Sunday at the Hilton Garden Inn Albany Med, early check in is first come first served. Since check in is technically at 3 pm, we have requested that rooms in our block are expedited to be ready for early check-in so you have time to make our shuttles. Our first shuttle to Normanside Country Club will be at 3:30 pm and the second shuttle is at 4 pm. (If you see the bus there early at 3, the 3 pm shuttle is only for immediate family coming early for photos).

Where to eat near hotel

A two minute walk down the street from the Hilton Garden Inn is The Counter - an excellent place to get lunch!There is also a Chipotle within walking distance. Attached to the hotel is the Recovery Room sports bar and grill and a Starbucks. We also recommend Ale and Oyster or El Loco, (13 min walk or a 3 min drive from hotel).

We have a room block for Sunday night (May 28th). Please call (518)396-3500 and use group code HWED23 - and tell them that want a room reserved under Hanlon / Hiza's room block. If you are coming early and staying on Saturday, May 27th, this will not be part of our block and will be a slightly higher rate. We highly recommend sticking with this hotel (we did our research in terms of quality and location and this one was the best)!
