Transportation to Venue
Lucerne is a 45-minute drive or direct train ride from the Zurich Airport. Many wedding guests will likely stay in Lucerne if not at the venue. The venue can be reached from Lucerne via the hotel's boat/funicular, car, taxi, or public transportation. Arriving by the hotel's boat and Bürgenstock Funicular is a spectacular experience. We'd recommend you arrive this way. It's easy, direct, and scenic. The hotel's boat brings you from downtown Lucerne to the hotel's funicular, which brings you directly to the Bürgenstock Hotel. If you're not staying at the venue, you can purchase a discounted boat/funicular ticket at https://shop.burgenstockresort.com/en/your-meetins-and-events-arrival. Coming by car from Zurich, take the Stansstad exit and follow the signs for “Bürgenstock”. By public transportation (Postauto) From the Stansstad train station, you can reach the Bürgenstock Resort directly by Postbus. Get off at the "Bürgenstock Waldhotel” bus stop.
