Our story began in Manhattan, New York in the winter of February 2020. After being blown off the week prior for Troy to attend a lacrosse tournament, Jillian was reluctant to give him a second chance for their first date at The Bar Room. Needless to say they are both thankful she did! Troy did not get off easy as he endured a marathon of a first date that probably felt like a background check for a job interview. They shared their upbringing, family dynamics, religious views, long term career aspirations, hobbies, favorite foods, important relationship qualities, and more. After closing both the restaurant and nearby watering hole down, Troy walked Jillian 17 blocks back to her apartment ending the night with a sweet kiss goodbye. They went on their second date only three days later and have been inseparable ever since!
