The moment we've been waiting for!

6/30/13: 11pm: Jessica arrives in Newport, RI, for a weekend at Alex's house (not knowing anyone in the house) 11:05pm: Jessica walks up to Brian and introduces herself. Brian is not interested, briefly says hi, and returns to his conversation. Jessica turns to her friend and says "is he gay?" Rest of evening: Jessica and Brian stay away from each other 7/1/13: 10am: Jessica walks downstairs into living room as she overhears Brian talking with Sam and Matty about Mad Men. Jessica (going in for another attempt to become friends) walks in and says "are you guys talking about Mad Men? I have something to contribute -- I work in advertising!" Brian says "we just finished." Jessica walks away... thinking Brian might not be very nice. 2pm: After being at the beach for a few hours, Jessica is having a blast on the opposite side of the group from Brian. Brian starts to notice her sparkling personality, beauty, and that she is exactly his type. He musters up the courage to ask her to play frisbee. Jessica, pleasantly surprised, accepts his invitation. Brian shows off his exceptional frisbee skills (truly!) Rest of day: Jessica and Brian are inseparable 7/2/13: Morning: Jessica and Brian hang out majority of day, among the group who sees sparks fly and is hoping Brian decides to settle down ;) 4pm: While enjoying a cocktail on the lawn at Castle Hill in Newport, Brian asks Jessica to dinner the following Friday. He offers her the choice between Burger King and McDonald's. Jessica accepts. ***Meanwhile, Jessica was interviewing for jobs in Orlando and was planning to move 7/5/13: 7pm: Jessica and Brian meet at Little Branch, a bar in the West Village, for a drink before dinner. Brian asks Jessica how the job search in Florida is going. Jessica informs Brian she turned the job down and decided to stay in New York. Brian smiles and says "I knew you weren't moving away." The best first date ever commenced... (4 years pass) 5/22/17: Brian proposes. The rest is history!
