Postdoc Brewing Company
This brewery is a short walk from our apartment, and we just love the spot. One night while we were enjoying a couple beers, unbeknownst to Jenelle, our families and friends were setting up for our proposal! It's got a great atmosphere and it dog/kiddo friendly!
Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery
A beautiful Chateau-Castle perfect for an evening wine tasting or glass to close out the day! We frequent Woodinville for its abundance of wine tasting rooms! Chateau St. Michelle is absolutely beautiful and their wine will also be served at our wedding!
Marymoor Park
Marymoor Park is a scenic escape in the middle of Redmond. We would go on walks through the dog park on sunny PNW nights (hopefully seeing a golden doodle or two along the way). Enjoy the views, and don't forget to take the Audubon Bird Trail Loop! It will take you right to the dock where we got engaged!
Blu Sardinia
One of our favorite Happy Hour spots! Don't be fooled by the small bar, there is a large dining area in the back for a family setting as well! Head here for Happy Hour from 4-7 and get amazing Italian food at a killer price!
Momiji
Our FAVORITE sushi place we've been to! Whenever Joshua would come to Seattle, we always went here for our "together at last" dinner. Their Happy Hour from 4-6 is the way to go. Try the Rainbow Roll and the Bad Boy Roll!
Rainbow Run Putt Putt
A beautiful Mini Golf course themed after Washington State! Super fun for all ages (or competitive adults). There are also TWO full golf courses here as well! On a sunny day, what could be better?
5 Stones Coffee Co
Our favorite locally sourced coffee house that has both a nice atmosphere as well as a gift shop that sells their awesome products. Support a local business while you're in tow and if you're a cold brew fan, try The Rocket!
Pomegranate Bistro
A great local brunch spot we love to go to! With Cinnamon Rolls the size of your face and a view into their catering production center, this spot is both entertaining and filling. Try their Chicken and Waffles and thank us later!
Molly Moon's Homemade Ice Cream
If you're a fan of ice cream, this is your spot! Though the lines might be long, the wait is totally worth it. Joshua's favorite flavor is Yeti (sweet cream ice cream with granola, chocolate and caramel) and Jenelle's favorite is their cookie dough, which tastes like a cinnamon oatmeal cookie.
HB Beverage Company
This place is all over Instagram for their beautiful and delicious acai bowls and smoothies, Not only is it filling, but it is also damn good! If you don't want to get a seated breakfast, this place is absolutely amazing and we would totally recommend it! (Get the Peanut Butter Bliss!)
