The Roanoke airport is located about 10 minutes (a short uber ride) from downtown Roanoke. They do have limited flights, so we recommend checking their flight schedule early on to see if this would be a convenient and affordable option.

Amtrak Northeast Regional

Amtrak has stops in Lynchburg, Charlottesville, Culpepper, Manassas, Burke Centre, Alexandria, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York City, and other cities along the Northeast Corridor. The train will stop in downtown Roanoke at a newly-constructed passenger platform with a canopy located at 55 Norfolk Ave. Note: Guests of the Hotel Roanoke are eligible for 25% off Amtrak travel.
