You really can't go wrong on the Square. But here are some of our favorites: IBERIAN PIG. Wonderful tapas, wine, cocktails. O'SULLIVAN'S IRISH PUB. No doubt we'll be having some fun here together on the wedding weekend. It's a chill neighborhood spot. Go have a pint and a snack! The staff (who are indeed Irish) are incredibly friendly. BUTTER & CREAM or JENI'S ICE CREAM. Great dessert options. B SIDE. Wonderful bagels. Get your morning java here, too. BRICK STORE PUB. Incredible beer selection, and great food. Cool outdoor patio in back. WHITE BULL or NO. 246. First-class Italian food at both of these spots. LEON'S FULL SERVICE. Great cocktails and grub. VICTORY. A fab bar for sandwiches and drinks. Try the famous Jack N Coke slushie. TACO MAC. Janelle + Josh met at the original site of this Atlanta institution. Amazing wings! LITTLE SHOP OF STORIES. A bookstore beloved across all Atlanta. SQ/FT. Great boutique for browsing.
We hope you might be able to make a whole weekend out of your trip for our wedding! Here are some fun things to do and places to see in Atlanta. COLLEGE FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME. An interactive, fun experience for the many sports fans in our group. This downtown spot is accessible via the MARTA train and near the aquarium and World of Coca Cola. WORLD OF COCA-COLA. A tourist trap? Maybe. But a fun one. The best part is the tasting room at the end! This downtown spot is accessible via the MARTA train and near the aquarium and College Football Hall of Fame. GEORGIA AQUARIUM. A truly world-class spot. (Janelle especially loves the penguins!) This downtown spot is accessible via the MARTA train and near the World of Coca Cola and College Football Hall of Fame. ATLANTA BOTANICAL GARDEN. Biiiig place, and beautiful! On Piedmont Park, which is also a great place to sit, have a picnic, explore. ZOO ATLANTA. Atlanta has a great zoo! Uber is probably best to get here from Decatur.

You can visit several sites related to the life of MLK Jr. in Atlanta. https://www.nps.gov/malu/ NATIONAL CENTER FOR CIVIL AND HUMAN RIGHTS. This museum is truly well done - one of our favorites not only in the city but the country. It's downtown, near the aquarium and World of Coca Cola. OAKLAND CEMETERY. Not spooky, we promise! A great place to visit and tour. MARGARET MITCHELL HOUSE. This is in Midtown - have drinks down there after your visit. JIMMY CARTER PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY AND MUSEUM. Honestly, we've been here only for events - never just to visit. So if you check it out, let us know how it is!
