When asked to describe James, the word hunting comes to mind. If it isn't hunting season, you can find him listening to hunting podcasts, talking about hunting to his friends, attending hunting meet ups, going to sportsmen shows or looking up hunting regulations for next year. James is an Eagle Scout all the way, he also has a passion for fishing, camping, wood working, archery, photography and Chantel! Although Chantel wasn't part of his Eagle Scout training. When James met Chantel, he was in CO for work. Unexpectedly he was called back to Oregon a short three months later, but the damage was done, he was in love! (Yes, he said it first). Although the distance was hard, it only helped to build a stronger foundation for their relationship. James can't believe how lucky he is to have found someone who encourages him to pursue his passions as much as Chantel does and shows him so many new things like candle making, cake decorating, painting and more. Together they enrich eachother's lives and he can't wait to see where their adventures will take them in love and life.

When asked how to describe Chantel, you may hear that she is always doing something. Attending concerts, dressing up for 5k's, attending a play, camping with James, baking a cake, going to this festival or that event. No matter the weekend, she is sure to be doing something. When Chantel met James, she wasn't looking for love. She didn't even know if she liked him! But James was persistent and in no time, they were inseparable. James has taught Chantel so many things: how to to start a campfire, what glassing is... but most of all, he has shown her the joy that comes from finding someone that makes you laugh everyday, the happiness from smiling just by thinking of someone and the delight that comes from finding that special someone you want to spend the rest of your life with.
Eric Tallman

Eric & James first met in the 4th grade in 1994. They were in Cub Scouts together, then the Boy Scouts (Eric also an Eagle Scout). James & Eric also played baseball & football together. These two could often be found together on the banks of a river fishing for salmon & steelhead; occasionally bringing back a fish or two. Eric taught James every thing he knows about salmon & steelhead fishing & James will still call Eric for fishing advise. Eric is more like a brother than a friend and is a stand up guy who I can always count on! This duo have been best friends since day one and will be there for each other till the end.
Danielle Guillen

Chantel and Danielle met while working at The Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) 5 years ago. They are all about finding adventures together and even share the nickname: Dantel. When James first met Chantel, he was informed that Danielle was her work wife and he had to share her with Danielle. You can see Dantel attending concerts, enjoying happy hour, going to fun 5K's (that they walk), making friends at festivals and enjoying an IPA (Danielle) or cocktail (Chantel). Oh and don't get them started about talking about work, that's always a source of entertainment for them.
Michael Crowl

Michael is James's brother. The two of them use to fight and annoy each other, just for the fun of it and in the ways only a big brother / little brother could. They rode there bikes all over the neighborhood, played in the nearby woods, and I'm sure if you ask our parents, we always found ways to make trouble. Michael has grown up with most of James's friends going on camping & fishing trips with us all, and had joined us on most of our Boy Scout outings. Michael had even demonstrated that a rain jacked is extremely flammable, even during a Western Washington down-poor!! James & Michael have always looked out for each other. And on this big day, Michael is again found at James's side. Michael is excited to have Chantel as part of the family and has welcomed here with open arms.
Morgan Bertsch

Chantel is Morgans big sister. Morgan is the best thing to ever happen to Chantel till now or till forever … unless you count James! When Morgan was a baby, Chantel helped take care of her, changing her diapers, teach her ABCs and toted her around as if Morgan were her own. Morgan is so excited to have James as her brother in law and can't wait for more fishing, camping or hiking trips with her sister and soon to be brother-in-law. No matter what happens, Chantel and Morgan will always be there for one another and on this special day, there could be no one better suited to be by Chantel's side.
Derrick Wahl

When Derrick and James first met, Derrick asked "Do you Hunt?" A few qualifying questions later James & Derrick became friends. The two of them have only been on a few hunts and a few fishing trips together, however they are always discussing the next season, and making plans for the next big hunt. When not talking about hunting, they are discussing fishing, gear, guns, and ballistics. Huntung and fishing are not the only thing these two plan... As James had decided to "pop the question", who else does he call to help plan the event? Well that would be Derrick. He was a co-conspirator to the big engagement plans and celebrated with James and Chantel in their engagement bliss.
Bianca Grosscope

Chantel and Bianca met while working at Media Audits International (MAI) 8+ years ago. They remained friends ever sense and even lived together for a 6 months. They enjoy a good meal, attending plays at the Bug Theater, Rockies games, Broncos games, tailgate parties and spending years trying to watch a single series on Netflix! Chantel is excited to have Bianca at her side on this special day.
Louie Gillespie

Louie & James met over a shared bottle of Wild Turkey. Perhaps not the most memorable of meetings, however soon these two were off hunting small game, getting a truck stuck in the snow, and tried to shoot each other on many many occasions (while playing paintball of course). Then one day while James was at work, his manager informed him that someone by the name of Louis Gillespie III used James as a reference; James's response "umm...I don't know anyone that goes by Louis?". With that glowing recommendation Louie started working with James at Cabela's. These two got to know each other much better during there time at Cabela's and have gone on more hunts. Louie is one of the guys who will always be there for you at a moments notice; & on the big day, he'll be found right at James's side.

Chantel met Joanna (Jo, Jojo, Jo mama, Jo monster) through Danielle about 5 years ago. Jo has joined Dantel on lots of random weekend adventures throughout Denver. They have walked 5k’s, enjoyed many 80s bands, danced the night away with a few drinks and lots of smiles. Jo is the quiet one of the group, but when she does talk, it’s always a good time. When Chantel asked Jo to be by her side on her special day, Jo was brought to tears with joy. Chantel couldn’t imagine this special day without her!
William Cox

James & Will met in Boy Scouts when Will joined the Rattle Snake Patrol. Although at first Will was the obnoxious kid always picking fights with the rest of us in the patrol, Will quickly became one of the Rattle Snakes and fit in like a glove. Will and James have enjoyed many outdoor trips together including fishing, camping, hiking, and hunting. Will was there for James's first hunting trip, and there when James harvested his first deer and first elk! And on the big day, William will be there for James yet again.

Chantel met Claudia through Danielle about 5 years ago. Clauida has joined Dantel on lots of random weekend adventures throughout Denver and Castle rock. You can always find Claudia, Danielle, Joanna and Chantel (and sometimes James) together drinking drink and having fun. Claudia has an award winning since of style, a no nonsense approach to life and a wonderful heart that shines through everything she does. Chantel couldn't imagine a more genuine person to be by her side on this special day.
