Rocky Mountain National Park

Rocky Mountain National Park’s 415 square miles encompass and protect spectacular mountain environments. Enjoy Trail Ridge Road – which crests at over 12,000 feet including many overlooks to experience the subalpine and alpine worlds – along with over 300 miles of hiking trails, wildflowers, wildlife, starry nights, and fun times. We like to visit RMNP at least twice a year. We almost guarantee that you'll find Elk, and if you look hard enough, you may also find deer, moose, and even may find Big Horn Sheep.

The Stanley Hotel

The muse for Stephen King’s The Shining. King and his wife stayed the night in room 217 (room 237 in the film), and The Stanley’s mysterious ambiance is touted as the inspiration for the Overlook Hotel. Many guests at The Stanley report feeling the spiritual energy of past guests and employees, including hotel founders F.O. and Flora Stanley.

Shopping in Estes Park

Along the 21 mile stretch from Raymond to Estes Park you’ll find many cafes and restaurants, antique stores and souvenir shops.

Ouzel Falls

The trail is approximately 5.4 miles round trip and is a moderately difficult hike. You’ll see some amazing flora and fauna and several attractions along the way such as the Calypso Cascades, Copeland Falls, and the North St. Vain Creek. Ouzel Falls itself is an impressive waterfall that towers over 40 feet high.

Saint Catherine's Chapel on the Rock

Built in 1936. The serene and inspiring location was even visited by Pope John Paul II who came in 1993, prayed in the chapel, and blessed it afterwards.

Estes Park Ride-A-Kart

Ride A Kart is the premier family attraction and entertainment center in Estes Park, located just below Lake Estes at the entrance and gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park.

Meadow Mountain Cafe

Hippie-styled restaurant that serves up some seriously delicious food. Post wedding breakfast will be held here at 10am.
