When is the hotel scheduling COVID Tests?

Answer

Per the hotel, they are scheduling tests every day between the hours of 9AM and 5PM. They have use the rapid antigen tests, which produce a result in approximately 20 minutes.

Are there any COVID testing requirements going to Mexico/the Resort?

Answer

There are no COVID testing requirements to enter Mexico or stay at the resort. There are only test requirements to return to the US (see next question).

What are the COVID-19 Testing Requirements for Returning to the US

Answer

As of this writing (April 23), the US requires a negative COVID-19 test within 1 day of your travel to return to the United States. Dreams Riviera Cancun offers testing at the resort. The COVID test is free IF: you booked a Preferred Club room AND you booked prior to November 1, 2021. If you did not book a Preferred Club room OR booked after November 1, 2021, they still offer the test but it is $35 per person. If you are interested in getting tested at the hotel, you *must* make a reservation to take the test at the time of check-in. The slots book up quickly, so it's important to book your spot as soon as possible. Another option is to purchase an at-home test. For these tests, you purchase in advance and take them with you when you travel. When you are within a day, you log-in to a video call and a telehealth professional watches and verifies you take the test. What is the tipping policy at the resort?
