Penny Hot Springs
Remote, wild, and free Hot Springs along the Crystal River on Hwy 133. Noticeable rock outcropping along the Crystal River indicates the hot springs location across the road. Also noticeable by a parking area and outhouse located above the hot springs.
Redstone, Colorado
Redstone is a quaint mountain town located 5 miles up river from the Avalanche Ranch just off of Hwy 133. Antique stores, a general store, ice skating rink with free skates, Propaganda Pie, the Redstone Inn, and the Coke Ovens all give Redstone its own unique and funky flair. There are also nearby hiking trails for those seeking an adventure.

McClure Pass
Get incredible views of the Crystal Valley from the top of McClure Pass located past Redstone. Great for snowshoeing and soaking in the scenery! The drive is not for the faint of heart, but totally worth it.
