South Slope Brewing District
Asheville isn't called the Beer City for nothing - this area is home to some of our favorite breweries in town such as Catawba, Funkatorium, Hi-Wire, and Asheville Brewing, as well as great local restaurants (and Vortex Doughnuts).
New Belgium Brewing Company
Located in the River Arts District, New Belgium brewing sits right along the French Broad River. If you are staying at the Country Inn and Suites, this brewery is right around corner, and we would highly recommend checking out!
Highland Brewing Company
Asheville's original craft brewery - visit their East Asheville location for live music, disc golf, and limited release beers or visit their downtown location (right around the corner from the Cambria Hotel) at the historic S&W market.
Hemingway's Cuba
Located on the 4th floor of the Cambria Hotel - this rooftop bar offers stunning panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and is a favorite Asheville restaurant and rooftop bar for visitors and locals alike.
Buxton Hall Barbecue
Arguably the best BBQ in town and up there for some best BBQ in Western North Carolina. An easy place for lunch or dinner and is a must eat for the groom every time he is in town.
Sunshine Sammies
House made ice cream paired with fresh baked cookies to create your own ice cream sandwich - we don't have to say much else. A favorite spot for the dessert loving couple.
Biltmore Estate
Asheville's most popular tourist destination. You'll most likely have to book tickets ahead of time if you'd like to check out the country's largest private residency and don't forget to check out the wine tastings at Antler Hill Village!
Blue Ridge Parkway
One of the highlights of a trip to Asheville is getting to experience the breathtaking views along the Blue Ridge Parkway - even a short drive is worth the time. Popular Hikes/Drives in the area: Mt. Mitchell, Craggy Gardens, Linville Falls, Mt. Pisgah, and Black Balsalm.
River Arts District
The River Arts District is a creative hub along the French Broad River that features local art galleries, restaurant's, breweries and music venues. Some of the most popular locations here are 12 Bones Smokehouse, Bull and Beggar, Ultra Coffeebar, and Wedge Brewing.
