McMenamins Hotel Oregon
McMenamins is a family-owned chain of brewpubs, breweries, wineries, music venues, historic hotels with soaking pools, and theater pubs in the Pacific Northwest. It is also very special to the bride and groom! They love to travel all over Oregon and Washington to visit and experience each unique place. Hotel Oregon is located in McMinnville out in wine country. There's a popular pub on the main floor and a fabulous rooftop bar with a breathtaking 360-degree view of the region. Tasting rooms are within walking distance and more than 200 wineries are in the vicinity. If you're looking for a place to stay, there are 42 guestrooms!
Multnomah Falls & The Colombia River Gorge

Silver Falls State Park
As seen in the couples' engagement photos, Silver Falls is located southeast of Portland/Salem and the park's forested canyons visit 10 spectacular waterfalls, five of which are more than 100 feet high. The path even leads through mossy caverns behind the falls' shimmering silver curtains. This loop is suitable for families with beginning hikers and is a hike that all levels of hikers can enjoy.
Forest Park
A breathtaking urban forest above the Oregon Zoo and Japanese Gardens stretching over 8 miles on hillsides overlooking the Willamette River. With mostly flat paths, Forest Park provides easy, peaceful walking/hiking/jogging trails just outside the city. If you want to experience the beautiful Oregon outdoors without the travel, this is the place for you!
Newport Historic Bayfront
Home of the Rogue Brewery, Newport is an Oregon Coast destination you don't want to miss out on. Visit the historic Yaquina Bay Lighthouse, walk along the historic Newport bayfront and get some saltwater taffy or Mo's famous clam chowder (don't forget to say hi to the local sea lions sunbathing on the dock!). Then stop by the Oregon Coast Aquarium on Yaquina Bay, featuring local marine life with underwater walkways and a seabird aviary. There's something for everyone!
Mo's Restaurant
Newport isn't the only place that you can visit Mo's for some delicious seafood. An hour and fifteen minutes from Portland and within walking distance of the ocean in Cannon Beach, Mo's is the groom's favorite place on the Oregon Coast. Order combination platter #1 or a hot crab melt and you won't be disappointed. After lunch, head out for a stroll along the coast (bring a windbreaker!)
La Provence Boulangerie & Patisserie
A brunch favorite of the bride with an elegant atmosphere and homemade croissants to die for! Lattes, sipping chocolate, mimosas, Bloody Mary's, and a delicious assortment of pastries and baked goods are made fresh daily. The smoked salmon benedict is highly recommended!
Le Bistro Montage
The bride and groom shared their first date at this one-of-a-kind Cajun bistro! A completely unique dining experience awaits when you come in; linen-covered communal tables, custom art, a large selection of wine and eclectic décor is only the beginning. While you are there do not forget to try their famous macaroni, frog legs, gator bites and homemade desserts. Make sure to ask your server to wrap your leftovers and see what foil art masterpiece you get to take home!
Babica Hen Cafe
Located close to the Bridgeport Shopping Center and the Grand Hotel, Babica Hen is a regular brunch spot of the bride and groom and a lady-date spot for the bride and her bridesmaids. Farm-fresh local ingredients, cocktails and pastries, and a wonderful assortment of waffles (food allergy friendly!)
Kells Irish Restaurant & Pub
Kali and Frank love to bring out-of-town guests to this Irish pub in downtown Portland! Enjoy authentic Irish cuisine and a Guinness, or for the more adventurous types, order some Irish car bombs. If you look up you'll notice dollar bills stuck to ceiling. Hand the waiter a dollar bill and two quarters and ask to see the magic trick (it's worth it!). Every St Patty's Day they take all the money from the ceiling and donate it to charity.
Portland City Grill
With some of the best fine dining in Portland with the best views, Frank and Kali love having date nights at Portland City Grill. Located on the 30th floor of the pink U.S. Bancorp Tower in downtown, they have a wonderful happy hour menu and fantastic drinks. A must see when visiting Portland!
