Kali and Frank met in the summer of 2013 when they both began attending Pacific University's Dental Hygiene program. Frank knew upon entering this program that he would be surrounded by 27 women for the next two years so to avoid any potential drama and complications, he made a rule for himself that he would not fall for or date anyone in the class. Well, fate had a different plan. Frank was never really one to follow rules so as to be expected, he didn't follow his for too long. Frank and Kali were paired to be each other's first clinic partners, which is when they first discovered that they were two very different people. It was not love at first sight as the timid, quiet, small-town girl from Bend, Oregon became an eye-rolling expert at the humor and antics of the outgoing, boisterous city boy from St Charles, Missouri. Despite their differences in personality, the two developed a friendship and discovered something in each other that they had always longed for: someone whose heart, passions, and beliefs are aligned with theirs and compliment who they are in the best of ways. After their first school year, Frank and Kali made it official at the Oregon Coast as they shared their first kiss next to the ocean under the moonlight. Over the years their relationship has been a testament to how difficult love and life can be, but the love they share is worth fighting for, making sacrifices for, and growing for through the darkest times, the happiest times, and everything in between. On March 16th, 2017 Frank proposed in the Utah mountains during a family ski trip and Kali couldn't even wait to kiss him before she said yes! The happy couple is excited to celebrate the beginning of their lifelong adventure with their friends, family, and loved ones in the beautiful state of Oregon. ❤︎
