Flight
We recommend flying into Sea-Tac Airport as it will be the most affordable option and it has the added convenience of car rental options as well as the Kitsap Airporter shuttle which can take you to several locations on the peninsula.
Travel Note
Please note that Port Ludlow is located on the north end of the Hood Canal Bridge which opens regularly for boats and submarines traveling to the Naval Base. If you're stuck on the wrong side of the bridge, you could be waiting anywhere from 15 minutes to several hours. If you're staying in Silverdale for example, it's a good idea to add a bit of extra travel time just in case the bridge opens!
Hotel
For an upscale stay, the Inn at Port Ludlow Marina is both beautiful and convenient. It is right in the neighborhood, and you would be less than a 5 minute drive from the wedding venue!
House Or Rental
There are lots of Airbnb's around Port Ludlow and the surrounding area. Treat yourself to a tiny house or a cottage with a great view of the hood canal or surrounding forests!
Shuttle
September 17, 2021 4:15 am - 10:15 pm
The Kitsap Airporter runs daily every 2 hours from the Sea-Tac Airport to the peninsula. You can take the shuttle to Silverdale or Poulsbo if you are staying nearby. Even if you take the shuttle, we recommend renting a car or making sure you have your own travel arrangements to Port Ludlow as ride shares (Uber and Lyft) and public transportation can be difficult to find. Please see the Kitsap Airporter website for scheduling and fares: https://www.kitsapairporter.com/
Hotel
If you take the Kitsap Airporter to Silverdale, it will drop you off at this hotel!
Hotel
We love this funky Victorian town and there are several places to stay in and around Port Townsend. It's a bit farther than Port Ludlow, but you have the added benefit of being on this side of the Hood Canal Bridge which can close to traffic and delay your travels.
