If you're in Port Ludlow, check out our very own Ludlow Falls! It's a quick hike right in the neighborhood.
This is our favorite Olympic Peninsula Cidery! There is food and drink and often live music, as well as outdoor games on their orchard in the Chimacum Valley.
If you have an afternoon to spare, walk around the Victorian town of Port Townsend and catch a movie at the historic Rose Theatre.
One of our favorite places to go when we're on the peninsula for astounding views and chill road trip vibes. A must see if you're up for the drive! If the lodge is open, they offer kayak rentals as well as food and drinks inside or on the patio. There is an easy waterfall hike close by. We may have an optional trip planned here the day after the ceremony.
Located near Brinnon, WA, one of our favorite local hikes! A short 1.4 mile, moderate difficulty, out and back trail to a beautiful waterfall. Great for taking photos and getting some fresh mountain air! There is a dirt road to the trail, and parking can fill up, so get there early if you can to avoid the crowds.
Fort Flagler on Maristone Island is a historic naval base converted to a scenic state park on the Sound! Come here for a relaxing walk with beautiful views of the water, wide open fields, forests, and spooky bunkers. We always spot some black-tailed deer on or walks.
