Great fast STT airport departure tip: Pay a porter at the airport. Once you check in they get to take your checked bags and skip to the head of the TSA line. Just watch the people in line as their jaws drop trying to figure out if you are celebrities! Took us five minutes since we were all precheck. There are limited food options at the airport and they are quite pricey so I suggest you bring something to eat with you or pick up something en route. Also the temperature in this airport varies like crazy - sometimes it's super hot and sometimes freezing - just pretend it's Indiana weather and bring layers! If you have a later flight, ask your taxi driver to stop by Charlotte Amelie overlook on the way to the airport for the best view of the island, last-minute souvenir shopping, and yummy banana daiquiris

The number above is for Big Love Taxi "the fastest service and number one source for immediate pickup on St Thomas" Standard taxi rates are around $25/per person to Sapphire Beach from the airport and $10/pp to the nearby restaurants in Red Hook from Sapphire Beach.
