H O W   W E   M E T

In the summer of 2020, we were both living in Arlington making the best of lockdown. Kaitlin's roommate, Meredith, was dating Greg’s roommate, Cody. With both households a few blocks away, we soon became one quarantine pod. Meredith hinted at setting Kaitlin up with Cody’s new roommate: his college friend Greg. So, the first weekend Greg moved in, Kaitlin was invited to a casual summer hangout.

As the night unfolded, conversation (and White Claws) flowed, and the topic of summer camp (somehow) came up. Greg, completely confident, decided he could guess where Kaitlin grew up going to camp. Turns out, we spent our childhood summers at the same camp in upstate Pennsylvania – five overlapping years in a row. Memories were shared and our worlds suddenly felt a whole lot smaller.

The rest is history. Since then, our love has grown through a shared appreciation of weird British comedy, Cape Cod trips, pickles, Harry Potter, and (most importantly) our sweet pup, Peppa.
