We have built a life together split between the urban San Francisco Bay Area and our more bucolic escape in Mendocino County. Together these locales feed our needs for culture and countryside, energy and peace. We are partners both in life and in business. We met through our work, but we found we share so much more. Love of travel, hiking, yoga, dancing, reading, food, cooking and gardening. Openness to spiritual adventure. Excitement for mentoring and developing young people. We support one another in all of these passions, and we are constantly discovering new adventures to pursue together. We treasure our three children and we love spending time with both of our extended families. We also share an extensive network of friends around the world with whom we love visiting and traveling.

Christopher: Keeping a secret from Samantha for six months was almost impossible while working intensively with a jewelry designer to create the perfect ring. Yet it all paid off on top of a mountain in Fiji when I kneeled before her and saw the surprise on her face. The next chapter awaits! Samantha: Gloriously happy, hot and sweaty, in a place filled with magical energy, I was SHOCKED when Christopher bent a knee below me at the top of our hike overlooking the Pacific Ocean. YES, YES, YES!!!
