Owl's Nest Resort Lake Harold
A 10-acre man made lake that is safe and clean for swimming and recreation. Stand up paddle boards, kayaks, canoes, and row boats are available next to the dock.

The flume gorge
Located in Franconia Notch. The Flume Trail is a 2-mile loop starting at the check-in booths located in front of the Flume Building. The Short Trail/Rim Path is closed and the only option is to complete the full 2 mile loop. The entire loop takes approximately 1.5 hours and finishes at the Flume Building. The walk includes uphill walking and lots of stairs. The boardwalk allows you to look closely at the growth of flowers, ferns and mosses found here. Polar Caves Park
Polar Caves is home to nine granite caves you can duck, squeeze and shimmy through! The caves were formed during the last ice age from granite boulders and are so named because the deepest cave is cold enough to allow snow to linger long into the summer. Explore the majesty of Lake Winnipesaukee where the couple has spent many summers together! One way to experience it is by taking a scenic tour on the historic M/S Mount Washington. Ticket office is located on the Weirs Beach boardwalk in Laconia.
