Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi formal attire is encouraged! For men, this includes suits, dinner jackets, & ties. For ladies, this includes floor-length gowns, nice cocktail dresses, or formal pantsuits.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are asking for an unplugged wedding, so that means no phones during the ceremony. We have an awesome photographer and videographer for that! We would love for everyone to be present and in the moment during the ceremony, and then take all the pictures you would like during the reception!

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We will be hosting a Welcome Party at the Boat House located next to the Lake House at Owl’s Nest Resort on Thursday May 18 2023.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Transportation will be provided to and from the Best Western to the wedding. The bus will depart The Best Western at 5pm. The bus will depart The Lake House between 9:30pm and 11:30pm.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we LOVE your little ones, our wedding is an adults-only event so that you can relax and enjoy the evening. We hope that you understand our request to include only those whom the invitation has been addressed to for the Thursday & Friday events.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay at our head count. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
