This world-renowned park is where we took our engagement photos! Some of our favorite locations are the Pond, Bethesda Fountain, Bethesda Terrace, Bow Bridge, and The Ramble.
The Met is one of the world's largest art museums with collections that span over 5,000 years of world culture. Our favorites are the Temple of Dendur and Greek and Roman sculpture court. You may recognize "Apple Blossoms" by Charles-François Daubigny from the envelope liner on your wedding invitation!
The Treasures exhibit is completely free! Hundreds of items have been pulled from the library's expansive archive to be put on display for the first time ever, from Thomas Jefferson’s handwritten copy of the Declaration of Independence to the stuffed animals that inspired Winnie-the-Pooh. If you're a history lover like we are, it's a must-see.
Midtown includes famous sights like Top of the Rock, Rockefeller Plaza, Bryant Park, Grand Central Terminal, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Radio City Music Hall, and more. They're all in close vicinity of each other, so you can see a lot in a short amount of time.
You can purchase tickets in advance or buy the day-of. There are so many shows to choose from, but you can't go wrong with Hamilton, Wicked, or The Lion King.
One of our favorite things to do when we travel is to take a food tour. They are all terrific, but we most recommend the tours of Chelsea Market & the Highline and Flavors of Chinatown.
Located at the World Trade Center, the museum commemorates the attacks of September 11, 2001, documents its impact, and examines its continuing significance.
This elevated outdoor park connects top sights like Little Island, Chelsea Market, Hudson Yards, and the Vessel. One of our favorite ways to see a city is by foot and, on the High Line, you can cover a lot of ground in little time.
Chelsea Market is one of the best food halls, gourmet markets, and shopping malls in the city. Los Tacos No. 1 is perfect for quick, cheap tacos, and the adobada tacos are one of Elizabeth's favorite bites in the city.
Hudson Yards has more than 100 shops and restaurants as well as art installations, like the Vessel, and one of the city's newest observation decks, the Edge. One of our favorite ways to experience Hudson Yards is to book a table at Peak Restaurant & Bar since dining in gives you complimentary access to the Edge (usually $38/ticket).
The Morgan Library & Museum houses the collection of J.P. Morgan, the most influential financier in American history. The stunning library stores his collection of literary and musical works, like the original manuscript of “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens, letters by Jane Austen, and three copies of the Gutenberg Bible.
The MoMA is one of the largest and most influential museums of modern art in the world. It houses famous works like The Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh and many others from artists like Salvador Dali, Andy Warhol, and Pablo Picasso.
Get out of New York without actually leaving the city. Take a 1- or 2-hour lunch or dinner cruise on the Hudson River with lobster rolls and beautiful views of the Manhattan skyline.
