Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is a Catholic church on one of the famed fruit streets of Brooklyn Heights. We fell in love with its European-inspired interior, its storied history, and the beautiful brownstones and architectural gems that line the neighborhood. Our ceremony will be officiated by Father Peter Connelly.

It's a short 6-minute walk along the waterfront from the church to The River Café. In the free time between the ceremony and reception, we're excited for you to experience Dumbo, one of our favorite New York neighborhoods. Some of our favorite places to explore are Jane's Carousel, Buzz Bar, Cecconi's, Harriet's Rooftop at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge, and Time Out Market & Rooftop Bar.

"Across a bridge, over a river, and into a dream." The River Café is one of the most romantic restaurants in New York, with breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline, Statue of Liberty, and Brooklyn Bridge. We have spent some of our favorite nights here dining on the waterfront, sipping French '77s and Old Fashioneds at the cocktail bar, and strolling through the gardens. We can't wait to celebrate our wedding at this special place surrounded by family and friends.
