Krista and Alicia met as undergraduates at Eastern Washington University in the pre-veterinary program. Shortly after, they attended veterinary school at Washington State University. To navigate the stresses of school, they ran half marathons, relays, and Bloomsdays. Alicia encouraged Krista to go on the first date with George (who really was telling the truth about running late to help a friend fix a flat tire!) Alicia now owns her own veterinary clinic and lives in Idaho with her husband, Pat. She just had a beautiful baby girl-Ellodie!
Kris Burch

Kris and George met in early grade-school and have been good friends ever since. They've managed to keep in touch, usually weekly, but sometimes daily, even though they haven't lived within a 4 hour drive from each other since high school.
Justice Knepp
Bridesmaid
Justice and Krista met in Portland while working together in a veterinary clinic. They bonded over the poor management (as employees sometimes do) and remained friends well after they both left the clinic. In Portland, they both enjoyed hiking, paddle boarding, and other outdoor activities. Justice now lives in Pennsylvania with her husband Matt, and teaches yoga professionally.
Trever Pope

Trever and George became fast friends at the University of Idaho while working on their engineering degrees and have remained close ever since. Trever and George continue to trade help on house projects and take turns buying lunch for each other whenever they get the chance. To George, Trever, his wife Samantha, and his kids Taylor and Daniel are family.
Braunwyn Korbel

Krista met Braunwyn at George's family get-together in April of 2022 in Seaside, Oregon. Braunwyn made Krista feel welcome immediately, and has provided lots of support during dress shopping and other wedding planning. Her husband, Daniel Korbel is George's brother and groomsman, and their son Oliver Korbel is the cutest ring bearer ever. They live in Moscow, Idaho.

Kristen Danielson

Kristen and Krista met in veterinary school, and became close friends during 4th year rotations. They ran Palouse 100 K relay every year, and bonded over other outdoor activities and good conversation. Kristen lives in Portland, Oregon with her daughter Ramona, and works at an emergency veterinary clinic full time. Thank you so much Kristen for all your help with planning!
Corey Morrow

Krista's younger brother has quickly become friends with George as well. Corey says that he is so greatful for the way George has supported and cared for Krista and he is proud to welcome George to the family. Corey splits his time between Spokane and South Carolina, and is a professor at MUSC.
