Riverside State Park - Bowl and Pitcher Area
George proposed to Krista on the swinging bridge overlooking the Spokane River in January of 2023. Riverside State Park is a great place to hike, bike, and walk. The park meets up with the Centennial Trail. One of our favorite spots to bike and walk with the dogs!
Manito Park
Our first date! After lunch, George and Krista walked around the flower and rose gardens and Japanese gardens for several hours-they didn't want the date to be over. Lovely to visit in the spring and summer! After Krista's surgeries, George took her for strolls in her wheelchair along the duck pond and off roading through the grass!
Saltese Uplands Conservation Area
Mountain biking or hiking for easy/intermediate levels. Go to the top if you want a challenge! Another favorite spot of George and Krista's.

One of our favorite new restaurants in Spokane-if you like Cajun/Creole food! Crawfish boil, shrimp and grits, beignets and more.
