Madeline and Marisa met at a Congressional Scheduler breakfast in January of 2019 and quickly became each others closest confidant at work. Between battling for their self proclaimed "scheduler of the year" award and drinking an unhealthy amount of sugar free redbull the two became two peas in a pod. After 9 months as roommates COVID struck, and to break up their mundane routine the two starting inviting Matt over for dinner and some very intense games of uno which led us all to this moment.
Cameron McIntosh
Best Man
Matt and Cameron met on their first day at the University of Kentucky. While they weren't roommates, they quickly became best friends taking the same classes and having almost every meal together. Throughout the rest of their time at UK, the two of them and three other friends lived together off campus while continuing to spend almost every day together with a similar class schedule and many trips to Raising Canes.
Emma Jackson

Madeline went from no sisters to two in a year and could not be more excited about it! Madeline is constantly in awe of Emma's adventorous spirit - whether she is living in the carribean or going to work on a winery in New Zealand Emma is always down for an adventure. When she is not jet setting, Emma is a big fan of martinis and playing games, which happen to be two of Madeline's favorite things.

The oldest of Matt's three younger brothers, Matt and Charlie grew up constantly competing against each other in whatever sport was in season. As they grew older, they continued to get to spend time together as they enjoyed getting into golf, rooting for their Chicago sports teams, and making trips up to Michigan to see family.
Kristen Solt

Kristen and Madeline met sophomore year of high school at dance team and quickly became best friends. The two spent most weekends and school breaks at Madeline's house (specifically in Marsha's kitchen) eating popcorn, laughing much too loudly, and being silly. The two have made it a point to visit each other as much as possible from Raleigh, NC to Columbia, SC to Washington, DC to Nashville, TN once these two are together its like no time has passed and they are right back to being silly in the nearest kitchen.
Danny Jackson

Danny is the middle of Matt's three younger brothers. Together, Matt and Danny have lots of fun listening to music and hanging out by the pool. When they were growing up, Danny and Matt got to spend a lot of time together whether it was going out to eat together or watching each other play in whatever sport they were playing at the time. Today, Danny and Matt have continued to stay close as Danny has comes to visit Matt and Madeline in Washington, D.C.
Natalie Norman

Friends since Sophmore year of high school, Natalie and Madeline have been through all of life's ups and downs together. A friendship that has spanned several years and continents the two are always down for a glass of wine, a long phone call, and a trip to Mijas, Spain. Madeline and Natalie have had the unique pleasure of also watching their significant others become good friends which has been a great added bonus.
Patrick Jackson

Patrick is the youngest of Matt's three brothers. Growing up, Patrick and Matt would often attend each others basketball or baseball games and spent a lot of time cheering each other on. When Matt left for college, Patrick would often visit him at UK and even followed in his footsteps to also attend UK.
Abigail Chance

As part of the Wing Night Wives and Girlfriends club, Abby and Madeline became great friends through their significant others. Bonding over a love of hosting parties and interior design the two have been fast friends since their men introduced them.
Brad Bognar

Brad has been one of Matt's best friends since they were in Kindergarten together. Growing up, the two of them were always able to be together, whether it was sleeping over at one of their houses, at their part-time jobs where they worked together or playing video games late at night. While they no longer live in the same city, the two of them have continued to remain close in getting the chance to visit each other and even stand up in each of their weddings.
Claire Case

When Madeline joined Congressman Barr's office it was just Claire and the boys. Luckily the two became great friends through a mutual love of office gossip and the chat function on Microsoft teams. Stretching past work, Claire and Madeline can be found taking a walk on the national mall, bringing salads over to each others house for dinner, or rooting for the Kentucky Wildcats even though neither of them attended the school.
Michael Case

Michael was one of Matt's first friends when he moved to Washington, D.C. When Matt began his first job out of college, it was Michael who showed him the ropes and helped him adapt to this new city for him. While the two of them no longer work together, Michael and Matt are still great friends and because they are neighbors, see each other just as often.
Celia Gale

Madeline and Celia met the same day that Celia met Derek. After Madeline graduated from college and moved to DC, Celia took her under her wing and showed her all the cool spots. Celia also invited Madeline to join her at Taylor Swift’s reputation tour which Madeline will be forever grateful for.
Derek Gale

As Madeline's older brother and only sibling, Derek and Matt quickly became close. When Matt first started dating Madeline, Derek and his wife Celia also lived in Washington, D.C. where the four of them were able to see each other often. Together, they have had a lot of fun at dinners together, going out in D.C., or making trips down to Charlottesville where Derek and Celia live today.
