I see there is a time gap between the ceremony and cocktail hour, what should I do?

Answer

Cocktail hour will begin at 6pm so there will be about an hour and a half break between the end of the ceremony and the reception. We suggest either popping back to your hotel to refresh for the evening or enjoying a drink at the hotel bar. There are also a number of bars or restaurants between St. Peters and the Carrick House that are within walking distance!

Why Lexington, Kentucky?

Answer

Lexington is special to the bride and groom as it is in the Congressional district of the office that they met in. Matt also attended school at the University of Kentucky in Lexington - go cats! The couple also saw it as a great geographically center point for each of their families - as everyone is roughly a days drive from the city.
