Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

The venue is at a personal home, and is located in a small neighborhood that backs up against the Great Salt Lake. Parking is very limited at the venue, and a small number of spots are available. Guests are encouraged to take the free transportation from Layton (pick up location to be determined) to the venue and back. If you need to drive yourself to the venue, please inform Gabby or Jesse as soon as possible.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is “dressy casual”. That may see a little confusing, so let us provide some clarification! Dressy casual is a spin on business casual, and closely related to cocktail attire or semi-formal-just a little more casual. For reference, the men in the wedding party will be wearing suits, no ties, and dress shoes. The women in the wedding party will be wearing formal dresses. Please wear appropriate footwear, as the venue is outdoors on grass.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

As much as we love your children, our wedding will be an adult only event. We want everyone to be able to enjoy themselves to the fullest and celebrate our love! Not only will there be an open bar, but the venue is also on a small farm where livestock are present. Due to the combination of livestock and alcohol, it is safest for all for children, even infants, to be left at home.

Will there be food at the wedding?

Answer

Yes, we will have appetizers provided during cocktail hour. Small plates will also be served during the reception.

Will there be vegetarian and gluten free options served?

Answer

Yes! We have done our best to accommodate everyone. For both cocktail hour and the reception there will be vegetarian and gluten free options available.

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

Yes, we will have an open bar. We want you to join us for a party and help celebrate our love! Kickback, relax, get yourself a hotel for the evening, and enjoy your favorite beverages on us while we dance the night away. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available for those who do not want to drink.

Is the venue outdoors?

Answer

The venue will primarily be outdoors and on grass, so please bring appropriate footwear. While some of the wedding will take place in the barn, most of it will be outdoors. The venue is located on a beautiful property, so come prepared to be outside and enjoy the beautiful sunset with us!

Will there be animals present?

Answer

Animals will be present, as the venue is a small farm. There will be horses, goats and chickens. If you have an allergy, please come prepared! For those of you that love animals, there will also be treat stations so the animals can celebrate too!
