Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Melissa Frohna and Cody Emmert
We’re so excited to share a few of our favorite places in the area with you. We also recommend checking out wharfdc.com for more information about The Wharf (where the hotels are located)!

Nationals Park

1500 South Capitol Street Southeast, Washington, DC 20003
, (202) 675-6287

The Nats are playing the Phillies for our "Homestand" from June 16th-19th. Unfortunately it looks like most of the game times conflict with wedding weekend events, but if you decide to come a day early or stay later on Sunday, you might be able to catch a game!

Boating in DC at The Wharf Boathouse

680 Water Street SW, Washington, DC 20024
, (202) 337-9642

You can book a kayak or standup paddle board to enjoy a day out on the water! The Wharf Boathouse on Recreation Pier is located just outside of the recommended hotels. Book classes and tours in advance. Walk-ups are welcome, and equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Food & Dining Options

The Wharf,

Check out this website for information on all of the dining options while you’re staying at The Wharf! We highly recommend Hank’s Oyster Bar, Del Mar, Oficina, and Mi Vida but you really can’t go wrong!

Tiki TNT & Potomac Distilling Company

1130 Maine Avenue Southwest, Washington, DC 20024
, (202) 900-4786

Todd Thrasher, the lauded wine and spirits devotee and multi-year James Beard Award finalist, has opened the doors to his highly anticipated urban rum distillery, Potomac Distilling Company. This waterfront emporium, which produces and distributes four types of Thrasher’s Rum, shares a waterfront space with Thrasher’s three-story Polynesian-style Tiki bar, Tiki TNT. Distillery tours are available Tuesday-Saturday from 10am-5pm. Tasting and cocktail is $18.

Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History

10th St. & Constitution Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC 20560
, (202) 633-1000

Our favorite museum - and DC has lots!

International Spy Museum

700 L'Enfant Plaza Southwest, Washington, DC 20024
, (202) 393-7798

Such a fun museum!

National Zoo

3100 Connecticut Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC 20008

Tidal Basin Paddle Boats
