Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotel and venue?

Answer

Yes! Buses will leave promptly at 4:15PM from Maine Avenue (734 Maine Avenue) adjacent to the Colada Shop and will go straight to the venue, District Winery. At the end of the night, buses will return all guests to the Canopy by Hilton which is next door/adjacent to the Hyatt House and the after-party location (Kirwan's).

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Of course! The more, the merrier. We just ask that you please let us know if they require a Children's Meal (for ages 4-12) and/or a high chair.

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Cocktail, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.

What should I wear to the Welcome Event?

Summer chic (summer dresses/maxis; khakis or dark jeans with polos or button downs)

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

If you're local to the area, we recommend using Lyft/Uber to get to the venue. However, if you do plan to drive there is a surface lot right next to the District Winery. There will be spots reserved for wedding guests. There is also street parking and other parking garages nearby. There is a National's Game that day, so we recommend coming earlier to secure parking!

Is there an After Party?

Answer

Yes! For those that want to keep the party going, we will meet at the upstairs location of Kirwan's around 11:30PM. You can find more info and the address on the "Schedule" tab.
