We met while waitressing at Mary's Kountry Kitchen. He was on his way home from work, and my workday was just getting started. He was just a customer, and I was just doing my job. We didn't think anything of it. Then one day I was on Tinder and thought how cute he looked in his bunker pants. Then I realized I recognized him. I swiped right and it was an instant match. He picked me up for what would be our first, but certainly not our last meal together at The Cheesecake Factory. Not only did he buy me dessert, but an appetizer, too. We stayed up all night talking and getting to know each other and falling in love. We knew that night that we were meant to be and there was no one else.
On the day of the proposal, I had an itching feeling it was going to happen. We had already gone and looked at rings and we had a baby on the way, and we had no doubt that wanted to spend our lives together. I decided to have a friend help me with my hair and as I was leaving a dog bit me right on the inside of my thigh. I called Blake panicking thinking I had a chunk of leg missing. I made it home and he was a wreck trying to figure out what to do. He didn't want to cancel the plans for the night, but he wanted to make sure I was okay. Not to mention I was losing it telling him we just couldn't cancel. The bite ended up being nothing but a little puncture wound, and our night went on. We went to the Leu Gardens and had a nice walk, the whole time me just waiting for him to get down on one knee. When it finally happened, I was so ecstatic, I didn't even notice the photographer was his mom. She had a wig, mask, and sunglasses on to disguise herself. It was a beautiful moment. Of course, we celebrated with dinner at The Cheesecake Factory!
