Cocktail attire is requested. Our 5:30 pm ceremony will be outside in the sun. We are expecting mid to high 70s during the day, and will likely drop into 60s once the sun sets. Our reception will be inside the barn.
Yes! Shuttle transportation will be provided from both hotels. Each hotel has one shuttle bus, which will depart at 4:45 pm to the venue. If you are staying local but have requested transportation, please utilize the Comfort Inn shuttle. There is not room for local guests on the Hilton Garden Inn shuttle. Post-reception shuttles will go to both hotels. Additionally, cars can be left at Castle Hill overnight. Uber/Lyft will likely be available from Charlottesville to the venue, but may be more challenging from the venue home. You can likely get an Uber from the hotels to your destination if you are not staying at either of the hotels.
Our ceremony will start at 5:30 pm. For those providing their own transportation, arrival around 5 pm is ideal so that you can grab a cider to enjoy during the ceremony! We also encourage all guests to take advantage of the hotel shuttles. Please see the travel tab for more information; if you take advantage of this option, you will arrive on time!
We love your children (so much!) but parties listed on invitations are the only invited guests for Friday and Saturday events. We would love for your children to join us for brunch on Sunday!
Please RSVP by August 1st. With the ongoing supply and demand shortages, we want to set our vendors up for success as early as possible!
