We love your kids - we really do! But we want our wedding to be your time away. Due to Covid and the capacity of our event space, we have unfortunately had to limit our guest count significantly more than we would like. As it stands, our flower girl and ring bearer will only be present for the ceremony portion of our special day. Thank you for being so understanding of the circumstance.
We are hopeful that Covid will not create interference with celebrating our big day. If there were to be any necessary changes to the event due to current local or state regulations, we would notify all guests promptly.
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you. Our guest list isn't more than 60 people and our venue cannot accommodate for larger events. Our apologies that we can't extend the invitation to more.
The end of summer and begin of fall is an interesting and sometimes unpredictable transition in the region. While in town, you may still experience humid heat into the upper 80's or more temperate to lightly cool weather with the leaves beginning to turn. In all fairness, it is hard to know what the weather will do until shortly before the big event!
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
Yes! There is handicapped parking right next to the building with elevators for access to the second floor of the building where the reception will be held. The ceremony is outdoors adjacent to the building, so everything is within a short distance.
Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels. Our only requests are to be mindful of our photographers as their job is to professionally capture special moments throughout the day and that you tag each photo you post with our wedding hashtag #LetsGetItHawn so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
During cocktail hour, we will have charcuterie boards and various light appetizers. For dinner, we are offering a seasonal buffet featuring some elevated but approachable dishes. Our hope in designing our menu was to accommodate a wide variety of tastes.
We will be sharing our wedding registry links on the site under the "Registry" tab. As we already have many household items, any contribution towards time together as newlyweds for our honeymoon is always an appreciated gift!
Given the location is a bit hidden and may be more difficult to find, we recommend planning to arrive 15 to 20 minutes prior to the ceremony to get settled after parking.
Please, notify us on the RSVP card or via email of any dietary restrictions so that we may address them with our caterer.
We are planning on having someone do a live Facebook stream of the ceremony to post and share for those that are unable to attend with us in person.
While we wish it were possible to offer a full open bar, following the ceremony, we will have cocktail hour on the deck of the lodge featuring various beer and wine selections in addition to our two signature cocktails.
