What if it rains?

Answer

The ceremony will be moved to the reception tent in case of poor weather conditions.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at least 15 minutes early, around 3:45pm, so that the ceremony can start at 4:00pm without interruption. All immediate family should arrive by 3:00pm for photos.

Will there be bathrooms available?

Answer

There will be two luxury full sized out-house bathrooms available on-site.

What should I wear?

Answer

For Monroe, Michigan in early October, the historical average high is 67 degrees and average low is 45 degrees. The ceremony and reception will take place outdoors on grassy terrain (with the exception of the dance floor). Plan layers and footwear accordingly.

Who will be catering?

Answer

Chipotle, with a variety of protein options. Dessert will be assorted pies.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

There will be gluten free, soy free, and dairy free options available. All Chipotle food items will be free of eggs, mustard, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, shellfish, and fish. There will be a first wave allowed to the buffet for those who have food allergies to avoid cross contamination. If you have any specific concerns please contact either Nick or Emily for more information. Can I take pictures and videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request an unplugged ceremony. Please keep all devices turned off and enjoy being fully present in this moment with us. Professional photos and video will be taken during the ceremony.
