This national park has so many incredible things to offer! We have done our best to narrow it down to a few: -Drive the Park Loop Road -Catch the sunrise at Cadillac Mountain -Enjoy popovers at the Jordan Pond House -Visit Sand Beach -Experience Thunder Hole -Beginner hikers should do the Great Head trail -More experienced hikers should do the Beehive trail
Bar Harbor Whale Watch Co.
Check out the Bar Harbor Whale Watch for nature tours, sunset cruises, or the whale watching! They usually see humpback whales about 30 miles offshore.
National Park Sea Kayak Tours
Highly recommend this adventure if the weather is on your side! This is one of the coolest ways to see the island and all of its natural wildlife.

Thurston's Lobster Pound
Full disclosure, this place is a 25 minute drive from downtown Bar Harbor, but serves up the best lobster roll on the island and quintessential New England views.
Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound
We often joke that the best lobster on the island is not actually on the island. This little joint is in Trenton right before you cross over the bridge onto Mount Desert Island. Worth it!
Havana
We would only recommend a Cuban place for dinner in Maine IF you've overdosed on Lobster already. The mojitos are excellent!
