FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

For the wedding, cocktail attire. Feel free to wear cocktail dresses or jumpsuits (you know how much Emily loves a jumpsuit), and jackets and slacks. But hey - it's summer. Ladies, if a summery dress is calling your name, go for it. Gentlemen, if you're feeling a linen-suited look, be our guest. If you're wondering if you should wear a tie, wear one. You're welcome to lose that sucker when it's time to hit the dance floor. For all other events, casual is great. For women, easy dresses, jeans - whatever you're comfortable in. For men, button downs or nice t-shirts are totally fine.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please note your allergy when you RSVP.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Not to the ceremony and reception. While we love kids (especially your kids... they're perfect!), please allow our wedding to be an excuse for date night.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes. When you RSVP, be sure to respond "Yes" with details on where you're staying if you want a ride to and from the wedding. We'll provide specific details when we're closer to the day. There is plenty of parking available onsite for you if you choose to drive. We encourage you to check out the recommended accommodations. All are conveniently located near the venue. Be advised, uber/lyfts are NOT widely available in the area. Please identify a designated driver if you drive yourself plan on taking advantage of the open bar!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

Are Covid-19 vaccinations required?

Answer

Out of concern for the safety and health of you - our closest friends and family - we are requiring everyone who attends to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

Question

Will the wedding be a masked event?

Answer

We will not be requiring masks, but you are welcome to wear one if it makes you feel more comfortable. For additional context, the wedding ceremony itself will be outside (weather permitting). The dinner reception and dancing will be inside. We anticipate ~120 guests.

Question

Additional health and safety guidance

Answer

We are so grateful to have the opportunity to celebrate our wedding with you all (and we sure have waited long enough!). We want to provide a safe and comfortable atmosphere for everyone and want to give you all the information you need to make a decision regarding attending that you feel good about. At minimum, we guarantee the requirement of being vaccinated won't change. As things evolve, we may also request additional precautions (like boosters or request a negative rapid test on site). If you have any additional questions or concerns about what has been outlined here, please feel free to reach out to Emily or Peter directly.
