Wrigley Field
We're both huge baseball fans (even though Liz bizarrely cheers for the Cleveland Indians). While the Cubs will be out of town the weekend of our wedding, the neighborhood around Wrigley Field is a fun place to visit! Also, tours of the Stadium are really fun!
Navy Pier
Many restaurants, bars, and things to do here, and the Beer Garden is always a great summer destination. A Chicago "must do" is the famous Ferris Wheel! Also, various boat rides are available from the pier.
Willis Tower Skydeck
No visit to Chicago is complete without a trip to the top of the Willis (Sears) Tower! On a clear summer day, the views are spectacular. If you're feeling brave, step out into the observation box!
The Second City
Chicago's most famous comedy club, where many of SNL's most famous comedians started their careers.
The J. Parker
Have a drink at one of the best rooftop bars in the city! Shortly after the proposal, Kevin & Liz celebrated here some champagne.
Lagunitas Brewing Company Chicago
Our favorite beer company, and one of the coolest and biggest breweries. Check out the tour of the brewery, and get a flight of some of their most unique and delicious craft beers!
Lakefront Trail
An impressive 18-mile-long path that extends almost the entire distance of the city. You can experience some amazing views by walking, running (what Liz does), or biking on the Lakefront Trail.
The Signature Room at the 95th®
The Signature Room on the 95th floor and Signature Lounge on the 96th floor of the John Hancock building has some of the best views of the city. Skip the Observation Desk and check out the lounge (and ladies, don't forget to check out the view from the women's restroom).
