Where should we stay?

Answer

We have hotel blocks reserved at our venue (LondonHouse) and The Westin River North. See our "Travel and Accommodations" page for further details on the hotel blocks. Also, Airbnb is an option.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Black tie encouraged: Floor-length evening gowns or formal cocktail dresses for the ladies and tuxes or dark suits for the men. Tuxes and gowns are preferred, but not required. We don't want the gentlemen to feel like they have to go out and rent/buy a tux specifically for our wedding but if you have a tux, go ahead and wear it. The same goes for the ladies and evening gowns. If you feel inclined to really glam it up, we highly encourage you to do so!

Are children invited?

Answer

We love children, but to allow all wedding guests a night of relaxation and celebration and due to space constraints, we respectfully ask you leave the little ones at home for our ceremony and reception.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says "and Guest," then yes. If not, then we would like it to just be you.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please include any food allergies or dietary restrictions on your RSVP card.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Our venue will have parking available at a discounted price for the night.

Do I need to be vaccinated against Covid?

Answer

Per the City of Chicago’s requirements and for the health and safety of our guests, every guest who attends our wedding must be fully vaccinated, meaning they received their second dose of the vaccine by March 11 at the latest. Additionally, Chicago requires people to be vaccinated to enter any restaurant or fitness center and is under a mask mandate so make sure you have your vaccination card or photograph of it with you!
