We're getting married!

Kevin and I were married in a small ceremony on April 17 but can't wait to celebrate our wedding at our big reception on March 26, 2022 with all our friends and family.

We met in the most romantic way a couple could possibly meet...a dating app! After a few charming messages back and forth and weeks of chatting while Kevin was traveling for work, we decided to meet up for a drink. Our first date was on August 31, 2017 when we went to the VIG in Old Town for drinks. We were having such a good time, we were there for over 3 hours! Liz's friends were spying on us from a nearby bar the entire time and gave their stamp of approval!

Kevin and I had been cooped up inside both working when he suggested we go for a walk in the Lincoln Park Zoo, as it was one of the first days all spring where the weather was perfect outside. After about a half an hour of walking around the zoo, Kevin suggested we pause on the boardwalk around the South Pond when all of a sudden, he surprised me by getting down on one knee and proposing! I was completely surprised (especially since it was also Kevin's birthday weekend) and of course said yes! Kevin planned for two of our closest friends to be there to take pictures and had to distract me so that I didn't see them hiding by the bridge. It all happened so fast, I didn't have any idea they were there until Kevin waved at them as they were taking photos of us. Afterwards the four of us went to celebrate with champagne at the JParker.
