A lovely spot to watch airplanes land and takeoff! Throughout 2022, we would frequently eat lunch together here. They have picnic tables & lots of space for kids to run around.
We went here in Sept of 2022 and had a great time! They have an incline train, a zipline, and a great animal selection!
During Fall 2022, we probably visited here a dozen times to get fresh apple cider, fresh fudge, participate in the corn maze & wander the apple orchard (our cat's favorite activity)! You can even watch them make the apple cider!
Although we haven't yet made it here to visit, it is on our must visit before leaving Grand Rapids list.
The only Dutch operated windmill in the US! In the spring, you can find hundreds of thousands of tulips here, but in the fall, it is a lovely place to visit to explore the shops & learn about the windmill.
Michigan's most photographed lighthouse & a great place for a walk along the beach!
We've only heard good things about visiting here!
We absolutely love this restaurant! With a direct view on to the tarmac to watch arriving airplanes & some windows onto the Waco factory floor (they produce many of the biplanes you see flying today), it is a must-do for anyone interested in airplanes.
If you're feeling adventurous, Grand Haven Skydive is the place to go! Eleanor flew a few loads of jumpers last summer and had a blast!
One of our absolute favorite places! We've been here more times than we can count - as season passholders, it quickly became a cheap & easy date night.
We've been here to watch a hockey game or two. The local team is the Grand Rapids Griffins, but there is also frequently a wide variety of concerts & events here.
