Suits & ties, dresses, and cultural formal attire are strongly encouraged. Note about weather: August 10th is currently projected to have a high temperature of 86 degrees Fahrenheit or 30 degrees Celsius and a low temperature of 62 degrees Fahrenheit or 16.7 degrees Celsius. The wedding ceremony is indoors with air conditioning. Reception is outdoors in the hills. Bring sunglasses and a light jacket since evenings can be chilly and breezy. Note about footwear: Reception will be on grass. We suggest block heels, flats, wedges, or sandals vs stilettos.
Ceremony begins promptly at 2:00pm, but we recommend arriving as early as 1:30pm to allocate enough time for parking and finding your seat. We don't want you to miss a thing!
Ceremony is in Downtown San Jose. Please allocate enough time to find parking and walk to church. While there is parking at the church site, there might not be enough space for everyone. Travel time from ceremony location to reception location is 21-25 minutes driving, 12-14 miles away. Caution: Calaveras Rd. is a winding road for the last 3 miles, or 5-6 minutes away, from Big Dog Vineyards.
Church parking lot entrance is on North 8th Street. You may park in the lot or on the street. Street parking meters and signs are enforced. Big Dog Vineyards, where the reception is located, has plenty of parking for guests and a parking attendant will be available to assist.
Both the church and reception venue have accessible parking areas. If you, or a loved one, has accessibility needs for the wedding reception, please contact us a couple days in advance to make arrangements.

Kindly reply by June 15, 2024 so we can ensure there are enough tables, chairs, and food to eat!
Although we want to invite everyone, there is limited seating. We are not able to accommodate our guests bringing a guest of their own.
Big Dog Vineyards will only serve beer and wine. Fortunately, all drinks provided by the winery are bottomless... especially the water! If you prefer something stronger, feel free to pre-game elsewhere. Outside alcohol or hard liquor is strictly prohibited at Big Dog Vineyards. Any guest who brings hard liquor to the winery will have their liquor confiscated and assessed a $1000 fine by the winery. We want everyone to have a great time so, please drink responsibly and make sure you have a designated driver!
The church and winery are NON-SMOKING properties. Anyone caught smoking and/or throwing cigarette buds on the ground at the winery will be charged a $1000 fine by the winery. This includes cigarettes, cigars, pipes, marijuana, vapes, etc. Thank you for your understanding!
