Travel Note

THE WEEKEND PLAN!

Please plan to spend your weekend with us! We are postponing our honeymoon departure until Sunday specifically to hang out with all of our wonderful out of town guests. We want to show you our beautiful city on Saturday. Saturday's agenda is TBD, but potential activities include renting a karaoke room, brunch, board games, local bars, coffee shops, shopping, rooftop lounge, and an escape room. Whatever it is, Danielle will make sure it's epic.

Flight

Southwest

We recommend flying in via Southwest on the morning of Friday, April 5th. If you choose to fly Delta, consider flying in Thursday night to ensure you don't have any flight delays that may cause you to miss the ceremony (Delta in Atlanta can be "problematic"). For departure, please book a Sunday flight! Dylan and Danielle are flying to the Caribbean on Sunday at 9:30am on Southwest. Feel free to book a flight around that time so we can travel to the airport together, or fly out later and enjoy yourself in Atlanta on Sunday.

Hotel

Renaissance Atlanta Midtown

Click "View" below for $159 king rooms or $179 double queen rooms. Custom requests will be prioritized if you book early (higher floor, away from elevator, etc). Parking is $25/night - we have access to free parking outside the city if you would prefer to avoid the parking costs. Hotel room rate expires on 03/01/2019. Please book accordingly!

Shuttle

Shuttle to Ceremony

April 5, 2019 5:30 pm - 11:30 pm

A shuttle will pick up at 5:30pm at the Renaissance Atlanta Midtown to transport guests to the ceremony. The shuttle will return guests from the ceremony to the hotel at 11:30pm when the reception ends. The bride & groom will be riding the return shuttle back to the hotel with guests.

Train

MARTA - Midtown Station

You will purchase a card at the machine for $2, then load it with cash. We recommend $5 to get to and from the airport, then we can add more if needed during the weekend. The airport MARTA station is *inside* the airport near baggage claim. When you come up the escalator from the tram at the baggage claim stop, you'll go left or right to your baggage carousel (if you didn't check bags, it doesn't matter which way you go). Then you'll continue on towards MARTA (away from the ticketing counters). There should be signage overhead pointing you to it. You will take either the gold or red trains (any train that's there!) to the Midtown station. The hotel is a 6 minute walk south.
