Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Cocktail or maxi dresses, suits, or a sports coat are all appropriate options. Ties are not required because Joe hates wearing them and will take his off early in the night.

Question

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

All Wedding day events will occur at The Cordelle: 45 Lindsley Ave, Nashville, TN 37210.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Ceremony is outdoors in the late afternoon. Reception will be mostly indoors with some outdoor entertainment options.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Spring in Nashville is a bit unpredictable but should be pleasant by May! Temperatures average between the upper 50s and upper 70s. Nights will be cooler so a jacket is recommended. Accomodations will be made should rain occur.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive no more than 15 minutes before the start of the ceremony (3:45).

Question

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head onto the covered patio for live music, hors d'oevres and beverages.

Answer

Our reception offers a buffet of Classic Southern options and an open bar. Non-alcoholic options will also be provided.

Yes, please notate on your invite and a special plate will be arranged!

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

Our Hotel Room Block is located at the Renissance Nashville Hotel Downtown. Rooms are available at a special rate of $259 pre tax at this link: https://book.passkey.com/e/50254566 Our Travel page outlines several other options we recommend to be close to the wedding action but there are hundreds of other options for staying in Nashville. As the location is downtown, it is easily accessible. Please feel free to search for the option that fits best for you!

Question

Will transpor-tation be provided between to or from the hotel?

Answer

No formal transportation has been arranged. Joe would recommend the popular motorized scooters downtown... Danielle would not. However, there are many rideshare, taxi, and hotel shuttle options!

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

We recommend a rideshare, taxi, or hotel shuttle when possible. If driving from the Hotel Block at the Renissance Hotel: -Start out going northeast on Commerce St toward 6th Ave. -Turn right onto 3rd Ave. (3rd Ave is just past Printers Aly Sbarro is on the corner, If you reach 2nd Ave you've gone a little too far) -Turn left to stay on 3rd Ave. 3rd & Lindsley is on the left. -3rd Ave becomes Lindsley Ave. -The Cordelle, 45 LINDSLEY AVE is on the right.

Question

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

As previously mentioned, we recommend rideshare, taxi or hotel shuttle. If you are parking, there is free but limited street parking surrounding the venue.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited reception seating space, we have a strict guest list. Our wedding is RSVP only and we will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us. If your children are coming to Nashville and you need a sitter for the day of the wedding, Danielle can provide recommendations from local friends!

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible. This can be done ahead of time, but formal invites will be sent in February and you should RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Invites should be mailed back in the provided envelope. If for any reason you cannot do so, please contact Danielle or Joe directly. All invites are due by April 2nd.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Our registry is listed here on our website. Instead of a traditional registry, we have decided to establish a Honeymoon and House fund. You can choose to gift any amount toward experiences or focus areas, such as honeymoon dinners, excursions, or even specific house renovations.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

As long as you don't get in the way of our professional photographers, then yes! We encourage guests to post pictures on their social media channels. Tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #pickintheDanJoe so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
