Mt. Rainier National Park is gorgeous this time of year! You can drive about 1-2 hours to get to the west side of the park. We recommend going to Paradise (https://www.nps.gov/mora/planyourvisit/paradise.htm) to get some great views of Mt. Rainier! Paradise is located 19 miles east of the Nisqually Entrance to the park. While you're there, check out the Visitor's Center where you can find a snack area, small walk-through museum, gift shop, and park information. Bring your boots if you want to hike, there will still be a little snow! We also recommend going to Longmire (https://www.nps.gov/mora/planyourvisit/longmire.htm), 7 miles east from the Nisqually Entrance and on the way to Paradise. You can stop here for easy and hard hikes that range between 1 mile and 10 miles long. There's a general store, museum (hopefully it's open!), and a restaurant at the National Park Inn. There shouldn't be snow here, but you'll still get great views of Mt. Rainier!
