Alec and I met in 2018, shortly before he moved to Seattle to work for the Seattle fire department. We did over 3 years of long distance while he was in Seattle and I stayed in Toledo, OH working towards my PhD. After my graduation in 2022, I moved to Seattle. No more long distance! Yay!
