We love your kids! We truly wish we could invite all our guests' children to our wedding. However, we are only able to invite children under 3 years old and our flower girl and ring bearer. When deciding whether to bring your little ones, please keep in mind that the venue is large and has two ponds!
You may RSVP digitally on this website! There is a tab called "RSVP"
Please RSVP by May 14, 2024. RSVPs will be available after invitations have been mailed.
Yes! This venue can accommodate parking for all of our guests
Please come dressed in whatever you are comfortable wearing! We recommend cocktail attire or semi-formal.
Both the ceremony and reception are outdoors. The reception will be under a tent. June weather in the PNW is typically mild, with temperatures in the 60s during the day. As always, there is a chance of rain or unexpected weather/temperature, so please bring a jacket just in case!
A buffet will be offered at the reception. Our menu consists of a beef, chicken, and pasta option. The menu was designed to accommodate vegetarian diets. Food options will specify if they are vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free, etc.
Open bar! We will have a variety of beer, wine, and cocktail options.
We encourage you to take photos! There will be a photographer before and during the ceremony, but not during the reception. Please remain in your seats during the ceremony, though you are encouraged to take photos without flash or sound!
We understand that many of our guests will be arriving from out of state, and this may be their first time to the Seattle area. Welcome to the PNW! Because of this, we know that everyone will have different preferences on where to stay. Therefore, we do not have a hotel blocking. Please consider the following options when deciding where to stay: 1. We want to stay close to the airport: We recommend staying at a hotel in Tukwila, WA! Tukwila is close to the airport, therefore many hotels offer free shuttles to and from the airport. South Center mall is in Tukwila, so there are many shops, activities, and restaurants to explore! This area is about a 15 minute drive to our venue, Sanders Estate. 2. We want to stay in Auburn, WA: We live in Auburn and our venue, Sanders Estate, is in Auburn! The Comfort Inn and Suites in Auburn (16th Street NE, Auburn, WA) is a 10 minute drive from Sanders Estate. Restaurants and some stores are walkable from this hotel. Another easily accessible hotel is Holiday Inn Express & Suites (507 C St SW, Auburn, WA) which is a 12 minute drive from Sanders Estate. The Auburn Outlet Collection and restaurants are about a 4 minute drive from this hotel. 3. We want to stay in Seattle: I don't blame you! Seattle is gorgeous and an amazing city to explore. Seattle is about a 25 minute drive from our venue, Sanders Estate. If you're staying somewhere in Seattle, we recommend that you rent a car to drive to and from our wedding venue. 4. We want to stay near the mountains: Auburn, WA is in the valley between Seattle, WA and Tacoma, WA. You will get excellent views of the Olympic Mountain range to the west and the Cascade Mountain range to the east (not to mention the glorious Mt Rainier in the Cascades!). If you plan to stay in the area for a while, we recommend renting a house/Air BnB close to Mt. Rainier National Park. The Ashford, WA entrance is closest; roughly a one hour drive from Sanders Estate.
