Best Man
John and his best man go waaaaay back, to John's birth in fact. John knew the only person suitable for the "Best Man" job would be his father Richard. He has always been a supportive, caring, and hilarious influence on John's life, not to mention a wonderful father. They've come a long way from Richard shouting critiques on the sidelines to John on the soccer field, to which John would raise his finger to his lips and mouth "Shhhh". John is very excited for his dad to be part of his wedding, and knows he will do an outstanding job. And if his dad decides to break out into a drag performance, John only asks he refrains from wearing white.
Best Woman
Kelly and David met each other at Holy Angel's pre-school, and became close friends their freshman year of high school. After a brief young romance (which for obvious reasons was not meant to be) they soon realized they were surely suited as best friends. A shared high school job at an assisted living home (that has provided a lifetime of stories) soon became many college and adult summers spent together. Now Kelly & David share many mutual friends and interests including 2 mutually favorite Pappas children, red wine, rap music, and a fascination with social media pyramid schemers. David couldn’t ask a better woman to help get him down the aisle!

Olivia and John first met back in high school and discovered their mutual love of bad TV teen dramas and not attending sporting events. Their mothers both hoped for them to date each other, but unfortunately they had more of a "Will & Grace" vibe. Though they didn't attend the same college, they visited each other constantly, and when Olivia made the move to Philadelphia after graduating, it was an obvious choice to live together. After 3 years and countless memories, John moved in with David, but the two remain best friends to this day. John's excited for Olivia to be with him on his big day, as well as her secret glow stick collection that takes any party to the next level.

Katy is David’s favorite (and only) sister. After years spent fighting over leg room on the sofa and a shared desk-top computer with AOL, they now have heated discussions over more sophisticated things (e.g., Settlers of Catan). They share mutual nostalgias for all things Vermont, Connecticut shoreline, & Walt Disney World. Some of David’s favorite memories of Katy are traveling together in Italy, camping at the beach in Connecticut, and anytime Katy can come and visit in Philadelphia. David can’t wait for Katy to be a part of all of the wedding festivities!
Groomswoman
Dedra and John met after graduating college when Dedra moved to Philadelphia for work. Dedra and Olivia had been friends in college, and so they also planned to live together in Philly. Seeing as John doesn't usually like new people, he had already planned of ways to ruin Olivia and Dedra's friendship if he didn't like her. However after spending time together, they realized they were destined to be close friends. Dedra even admitted to John how she planned to ruin his friendship with Olivia if she didn't like him. All 3 moved in together and became the real life "Three's Company". John's excited for Dedra to bring her fierce dance moves and Beyonce playlist to the wedding party.

Eric is David’s favorite (and only) brother. David might have expanded Eric's vocabulary as a young child to include several choice 4 letter words (Eric reports no wrong doings). Eric’s comedic timing is second to no one. Some of David’s favorite memories with Eric are family trips or holidays, playing cards or board-games, most of Eric’s ridiculous jokes, and having the fastest Pinewood Derby cars this side of the Mississippi. David can’t wait for Eric to be a groomsman, and for him to light up the dance floor!

Allie and John also met in high school, where they attended several school dances together, shared a love of musicals, and also shared a ritual of Allie sadistically body checking a defenseless John into lockers for her amusement. Having matured into responsible adults, Allie and John routinely pay homage to their favorite musical - Wicked - by performing a full rendition of Defying Gravity complete with singing, acting and stunts. These performances usually take place early in the morning specifically after going to a bar. Have yet to hear a bad review. John can't wait to party down with Allie during his wedding while invoking their mantra "Let's get weird".

Kru and David met in college as two kindred old souls. In college they were roommates in a small brothel in North Philadelphia, and have been close friends since. You can usually find David or Kru hosting one another and or friends, watching the classics (e.g., Jurassic Park & Frozen), and indulging in snacks (over a homemade concession stand) & cocktails in excess. David couldn’t ask for a better groomswoman & ‘hostess with the mostess’ to help him meet John down the aisle.

Anna and John share a special bond of attending their first prom together. There, Anna climbed onto John's back as they performed an intense hand-jive for a prize - a Wawa gift card with an undisclosed amount of money on it. Though they didn't win (and they should have), they have remained close friends to this day. Whether they are scream/singing musicals together, discussing Anna's movie reviews of movies she hasn't seen, or just people watching at the Renaissance Faire while sipping on fun drinks, they never have a bad time. John is so happy to have Anna in his wedding, and can't wait to have fun! #TeamFun

Allie and David also met their freshman year of college at Temple. Roommates throughout much of college, David & Allie studied abroad together in Rome. Some of David's favorite memories of Allie are chasing one another up and down Germantown Avenue holding wands (i.e., The Harry Potter Bar Crawl), beating one another in a hard fought board game, or long meandering phone conversations just because. David can’t wait for Allie to be a part of his and John’s wedding.

John and Meghan have known each other since grade school and were those weird kids who would share the same piece of gum and forego large social gatherings to stay at home, eat Fritos, and watch My Strange Addiction. Not much has changed. They have been through a lot together, including playground, school dances, sports, college visits, weddings and even double date nights. Seeing as their moms are also good friends (Real Housewives of Mohnton) their paths have been intertwined for a long time. John looks at Meghan as the sister he never had, and can't wait to celebrate his day with her. Just don't forget the Fritos Meghan.
Groomswoman
Katie and David met their freshman year of college at Temple. Some of David’s favorite memories of Katie are getting lost in and exploring Philadelphia, visiting Katie in beautiful San Diego, and planning any trip away. David especially adores Katie's myriad of catch phrases including a) "let's get weird", b) "you're fine!" (often in response to medical questions), c) "I hate games", and d) non-distinct devilish cackling. David can’t wait for Katie to be a part of his and John’s big day (and hopes for a day littered with Katie's sayings).
Groomsman
John met Andrew in his freshmen year of college and knew they had a special connection right from the start. Not only did they love to party, but Andrew and John were also two of the biggest nerds when it came to pop culture. Movies, TV, music, comics, video games....you name it and John and Andrew probably had strong opinions about it. Some of John's favorite college memories were just him and Andrew watching a movie with a cocktail in hand and critiquing the film the whole way through. Andrew was also instrumental in John's now aggressive obsession with drag queens and the drag scene. John can't wait for Andrew to start the party at his wedding, something Andrew has proven time and time again as being perfect for.
Groomsman
Daniel and David met their freshman year of college at Temple and have been good friends ever since. As roommates in their first off campus apartment (humbly known as Tequila House by fans and yelp reviewers) the two were known to put on a great party and throw up a beautiful Christmas tree. Aside from sharing lots of mutual friends, David and Daniel share loves of all things Home Goods, Christmas, and good music (i.e., the song “shots shots shots” being played on house speakers). David can’t wait for Daniel to be apart of all of the festivities.
