Philadelphia has plenty of things to do and see. Below are a few famous Philly attractions, as well as some of our favorite spots!

Things To Do

You're going to pass it when you walk to the venue from Hotel Monaco, but if you want to go in for a closer look...

Liberty Bell

You'll also pass it on your short walk to the venue, but if you'd like to take a longer tour. Another suggestion, go around 'back' to the actual front of Independence Hall, it's a great place for a stroll.

Independence Hall

All of the best food places in Philadelphia represented in one. Don't ruin your appetite at Termini Brothers, they'll be at the wedding!

Reading Terminal Market

A quick uber ride (or ~30 minute walk if you want to see the sights in between), it's a great place to tour or snap some pictures on the steps. There are also beautiful gardens and water views if you walk around to the back side.

Philadelphia Museum of Art

Literally our favorite pizza spot. World's best pizza. I said it. (Probably a 20 minute walk from our hotel, or a quick uber ride. Unfortunately since COVID, they no longer have dine in options).

Square Pie

Great place for custom cocktails & the tasting room is beautiful. We highly recommend the tour! They make gin on site, but carry other liquors as well.

Philadelphia Distilling

Great place for brunch, it's right around the corner from the Hotel Monaco.

Positano Coast by Aldo Lamberti

Another great brunch spot within walking distance of the Hotel Monaco.

Fork

A great place for ice cream. It's in Old City (near the hotel) and right next door to Shane Confectionary.

The Franklin Fountain

The oldest candy store in America. It's in Old City (near the hotel) and very close to The Franklin Fountain (ice cream). If it's a chilly day, try the hot chocolate!

Shane Confectionery

One of our favorite restaurants in Center City. Probably a 15 minute walk or very short uber ride from Hotel Monaco, and within walking distance of The Loews.

Sampan

"Brunch on a boat". It's parked but a great spot for brunch. A 15-20 minute walk from Hotel Monaco, or a short car ride from Center City.
